Shielded Data Center Cabinet

Nearly all private and public infrastructure is dependent on critical computing. With the rising threats of IEMI and EMP or HEMP attacks, there is an ever-growing need for shielded racks and data centers. This can be as simple as a single rack or a private data center in a business or highly complex data centers for colocation or cloud nodes. Shielding these computing capabilities also requires consideration for airflow and cooling, data connection, power distribution, and power filtering.

Gaven offers shielded 19” rack solutions available in two tiers to cover both IEMI and EMP threats. Both options are designed to be placed in data centers to EIA standards. The first level provides basic EMI/IEMI protection. The second level provides MIL-STD 188-125-1A/-2 protection from HEMP-level threats with over 100 dB of attenuation.
